Five new teams meet The Block for the first time. They are given a 24 hour challenge to make over a room where the winner gets to decide what floor they will live on and renovate for the next 12 weeks.

Our judges see the 24 hour challenge rooms, score each team and decide the pecking order. The teams move into their floors and begin their first weekly room…the main ensuite.

Fresh bathroom ideas are flowing for our teams - there’s a glass bath, a graffiti bath and a new waterproofing system. The girls work their charms to win crane time while Kingi tries to win over the Block architect.

Walls are coming down and while Suzi and Vonni smash their demo, Andrew struggles to work the sledgy. Scott and Shelley visit the teams and we find out one team has spent over $40,000 on their bathroom so far.

Plans for the bedrooms and ensuites take shape with some bold ideas. Keith and Dan road test last weeks bathrooms with some surprising results.

Tensions begin as one team gets caught using tools and one gets told their idea is (gasp) tacky. Suzi takes charge while Vonni is away and Whitney finds her wardrobe up a tree.

The Block is on lockdown. Half a day before room reveal The Block is evacuated. Will the teams all finish their rooms and who will take home the $10K.

Week three on The Blocktagon begins and there are big plans for some impressive master bedrooms and walk-in robes. From day one Andrew and Whitney struggle with the building schedule and foreman Keith and Dan are forced to intervene.

Tonight there's major construction work to the exterior of the building. The old fire stairs are being relocated and the northern side of the building will be flooded in natural light. The less experienced renovators are struggling with the work load.

It's challenge day and the contestants must design and create a bed head to use in their apartment. Block winner Lysandra is the guest judge for tonight's challenge where the winning team will have the joinery for their walk-in wardrobe paid for. They'll also win a custom made item of furniture.

Tonight five incredibly different master bedrooms and walk-in wardrobes are revealed. Caro and Kingi are keen for a win after coming second place two weeks in a row. It's a disastrous result for one team who don't complete their room.

Tonight judges Neale and Darren offer their design advice over brunch. One team is faced with builders wanting to quit. Work begins on guest bedrooms and ensuites. The contestants must incorporate the timber bed heads they made in last week's challenge.

There are budget blow outs and disagreements tonight as Keith and Dan crack down on tradesmen and contestants. Andrew and Whitney work harder than ever in an effort to stay on track with their new building schedule.

Vonni takes a tumble down the stairs and has to go to hospital for tests on her injured knee. The challenge bed heads arrive at The Block. Dean and Shay are planning a game changing move and are faced with the challenge of re-designing their floor plan.

Tonight it's the race to finish the final guest bedrooms and ensuites and this week the judges are impressed that all five teams hand over completed rooms! There is just half a point between first and second place and the winning team takes home $10,000 cash.

Tonight it's the start of the biggest week so far on The Blocktagon. Each team begins work on their study, guest powder room and laundry. The work load is too much for some and tempers fray as all the teams are forced to help one team clean up their work site.

Andrew enjoys a sleep-in and is in trouble with Keith. He and Whitney struggle to keep up with their building schedule. An argument between Whitney and Suzi gets personal and Ebony steps in to calm things down.

Tonight the teams take on their second challenge. They must come up with a cafe concept prototype, and set it up in a shipping container. Special guest judges designers Colin and Justin award the challenge winners $10,000 towards their renovation.

The teams hand over their studies, powder rooms and laundries to the judges tonight. Its been a huge week of renovating and Neale, Shaynna and Darren are unanimous as the winning team receives high scores for their designer look.

Living room week begins at The Blocktagon and its a worrying start for one team who doesn't have any plans for their room. Scotty makes an announcement that changes the game for all the contestants.

Tonight its all about budgets. Scotty checks the books of all five teams, discovers some alarming results and takes drastic action. Andrew takes on some construction work and upsets Keith and Dan.

The contestants have the chance to win a much needed $10,000 tonight when they meet up with Scotty and Shelley at Melbourne University for a unique and exciting challenge. The teams must create their very own signature scented candle.

Tonight the teams reveal their living rooms. Judges Darren, Shaynna and Neale are disappointed with one team for not completing their room. Despite a week of hard work from all the contestants, the judges are underwhelmed by their efforts this week.

Tonight the Blocktagon kitchens begin, but the teams are keen to check out the winning living room. Andrew and Whitney play hard ball with upstairs neighbours Suzi and Vonni, and the girls' plans for a huge marble kitchen island come to a grinding halt.

The tension between Suzi and Vonni and Andrew and Whitney escalates and the girls slow things down for the renovating rookies in apartment 2. Keith and Dan pay each team a visit with a very unwelcome list of defects that must be fixed. Kitchen installation begins on schedule for one lucky team.

There's only three days until the kitchens are revealed and today it's critical that installation takes place. Suzi and Vonni are shopping on a strict budget for their kitchen stools. Scotty and Shelley arrive to check on progress and there's a chance to win some extra cash with Scotty's supermarket challenge.

Tonight marks the end of the biggest week so far on The Block. Judges Neale, Shaynna and Romy Alwill are treated to five impressive kitchens. The teams have all worked hard to bring something new to their designs and the winning team takes home $10,000

The contestants are now in week 8 of the competition and they turn their attention to their dining rooms and foyers. Some teams have spent too much of their budget in early weeks and others are held back by the severe Melbourne weather playing havoc with the build.

Dwindling budgets are stressing some contestants, and tonight Shelley gives our teams the chance to win $10,000 with an Aldi cooking challenge. It's an opportunity for the teams to use their sparkling new kitchens, and the catch is that they have just $200 to spend on ingredients.

Suzi and Vonni face budget woes but they have some money saving ideas that they want to run by Keith. Caro goes shopping for some high end art to dress her dining room. Luke falls ill and doesn't get his floors prepared in time for his tradesmen.

As a gruelling eighth week of renovating draws to an end, the contestants do their best to complete their dining rooms and foyers. For some of our contestants, it is a disappointing end to the week. Judges Darren, Shaynna and Neale inspect the rooms and one team is thrilled to walk away with $10,000 cash.

Tonight the teams inspect each other's completed dining rooms and foyers, and Kingi and Caro aren't happy with the judge's scores. The contestants get on with planning and shopping for their terraces. Rumours start to circulate about a photo that may show Suzi and Vonni's cheating, with one of their tradesmen helping them paint.

As terrace week continues the teams must also take into consideration their re-do rooms, as decided by the judges. Caro and Kingi's only task is to find another sofa but Dean and Shay have an entire living room to create! A body corporate meeting takes place and the teams have trouble making a unanimous decision.

There are just 72 hours of renovating before the five apartments are due for completion and the contestants are busy finishing their terraces and re-do rooms. Its a crucial week for all the teams, and for one couple a fight with their builder reaches boiling point.

Tonight marks the end of nine hard weeks of renovating and the teams are exhausted but ecstatic to reveal their completed apartments to judges Darren, Shaynna and Neale. There's $10,000 prize money up for grabs and Scotty has a special announcement that no one is expecting.

Scotty meets the Blockheads and introduces their final challenge. There are ten rooms to renovate and the teams must each take on two rooms. The budget will be tight and a treasurer is appointed to oversee how every dollar will be spent.

Tensions are high as Suzi and Vonni feel let down by the other teams. Keith and Dan organise a surprise breakfast for one lucky team celebrating a special anniversary. All the teams need and want the prize money on offer this week, $15,000 for first place, $10,000 for second place, and $5,000 for third place.

Friendships are put to the test and costly mistakes are made as the teams struggle to get along while they work side by side in the same apartment. Scotty organises a fun-filled challenge with a chance to win the services of a professional painter.

Bathrooms and bedrooms are completed tonight in the first challenge apartment reveal. Three teams walk away with a cash prize. There's $15,000 for first place, $10,000 for second place and $5,000 for third place. They have the option to spend the cash on their apartments or take it off their reserve price on auction day.

Tonight the teams begin work on their final rooms. When one team wants to move a wall to gain more space in their room, their friendly neighbours are willing to compromise, but there is a price to pay! Keith takes charge of the cafe downstairs and Dan steps up to supervise the rooftop.

There's a paint party on the communal roof top but not everyone attends. Dean, Kingi, Luke and Andrew challenge Keith and Dan to a go karting race and Suzi decides that installing insulation can be fun. The competition heats up as the final rooms are close to being revealed. Its a reflective time too as everyone works together on the roof top terrace.

Working as a team has never been more important or difficult in the challenge apartment, particularly on the communal roof top. The judges are impressed by the completed cafe Mr Zen, as well as the roof top terrace. Scotty treats everyone to a party and Suzi treats herself to some pampering time.

Tonight marks the end of the renovating and each contestant must contribute an item to Scotty's time capsule which will be buried under The Block. The judges are impressed and the scores are high. One team wins a brand new Suzuki Vitara to be sold with their apartment on auction day, plus the first choice of auction order.

The Block is open for inspection and thousands of fans turn up for their very own tour of the completed apartments. The contestants have spent a grueling eighty eight days renovating a total of ninety five incredible rooms.

It's the moment that all the teams have been waiting for. Its auction time for the five completed Blocktagon apartments. The all important reserve prices are revealed and the auctions begin. The winning team will take home an additional $100,000 in prize money.
