Monster by Mistake

Warren turns into the Monster in Roz's antique shop while he's holding an ancient vase with a little archer girl painted on the side. The vase goes flying out of the Monster's hands but Tracy manages to catch it before it hits the floor. However, some of the blue dust surrounding Warren's transformation lands on the vase and brings the little archer girl to life!

Seth Blanders, a cheesy weatherman at the local news station, is looking for a big story to make him a top investigative reporter. And with Billy Castleman's help, he thinks he's found just the scoop - he's going to interview the Pickford Monster! Seth issues a challenge to the Monster on the air - show your face and be interviewed by me... if you dare! Warren and Tracy think it's a joke - they know for a fact the Monster won't show up - but to their surprise he does! What's going on? Could there be another Pickford Monster?

When their teacher Mr. Petrie picks Tracy's best friend Susan to be on the dance committee, Susan gets to work with Darryl, a guy who Tracy really likes. Tracy feels excluded and not as cool as either Susan or Darryl, so she decides to change her image. She sees a great leather jacket in a store window and begs her mom to buy it for her. When Roz balks at the price and refuses, Tracy makes her own jacket by casting a spell with the Jewel of Fenrath.

Tracy's been reading about the Golden Otter, a legendary solid gold statue buried in the Pickford Cave. She's determined to find it - it's so mysterious! - and heads off to explore the Cave with Warren in tow. Warren, however, has other things on his mind - like the dark, foreboding Cave itself. He hangs back, afraid, until Billy Castleman shows up, laughing and calling Warren a chicken. Warren, his back up, marches into the Cave: We'll see who's chicken!

Tracy and Warren are thrilled when they win a contest, sponsored by Pickford museum, which takes them on an archeological dig with the eccentric paleontologist, Dr. Herbert Fossel. However, they're dismayed when odious Wesley muscles his way on to the dig with him, his parents give mega bucks to Pickford museum and Wesley's come equipped with state-of-the-art digging tools.

Warrem's having a blast building his own soap box racing car - until bratty rich kid Wesley Wiffington III comes along in his expensive imported racer and starts making fun of Warren's car. When Warren defends his model, claiming it's faster and lighter, Wesley challenges Warren to a race and Warren impulsively accepts.

Mr. Petrie's organizing the Pickford Ice Follies and everyone's excited about it, especially Tracy, who's trying out for a part in the show. It's a charity event to raise money for the school, and Tracy and Warren are sure it's going to be a big success - especially when Mr. Petrie and Aunt Dolores reveal the piece de resistance - the celebrated, diamond-encrusted Romistikov skates, on loan from a Russian museum!

Warren takes his beloved ant farm to the school picnic in Grover's Field. He can't bear to be separated from his pets, who all have names. But when the ant farm container accidentally breaks open and the ants get loose and into everyone's sandwiches, Tracy casts a spell to get rid of the pesky insects.

Tracy’s determined to win first prize at the science fair; but when the new kid in school shows up with a homemade robot, Tracy decides to use magic to doctor-up her volcano.

Tracy and Warren learn that Aunt Dolores has been passed over for promotion to Chief of Pickford Police. An outsider, Chief Stern, has nabbed the promotion instead. As Tracy and Warren play on their pogo sticks, digesting this news, Billy Castleman comes along and steals Tracy's right out from under her. Warren turns into the Monster and pursues Billy. But Billy gets away when Dolores spots the Pickford Monster on a pogo stick and hot foots it after the 'a crafty blue perp.'

Johnny's been acting strange lately, getting in Warren and Tracy's way and sulking around the house. The kids aren't sure what's wrong with him... until Frankie and Louis, two of Johnny's ghostly old band mates, show up for Johnny's surprise birthday party. Warren and Tracy are stunned - they didn't know it was Johnny's birthday. That explains his behaviour... Johnny's going through a mid-death crisis!

Tracy, Johnny and Warren discover that the old Amberson place has been sold which means that Gorgool and his Servant will soon be out of a home. When the kids kindly warn Gorgool, he responds harshly, so Warren and Tracy write him off. Who cares what happens to that creep anyway?

When Wesley gets money from his rich parents to make a "student film", all the kids want to audition for him. Susan's in her element, giving an over-the-top audition that nets her a small role, Miranda and Connor get roles as "extras", Tracy's brought on board as "special effects" technician and Billy becomes Wesley's DOP.
