The small but dedicated Danbury Metal Detecting Club (DMDC) welcomes a new member. Andy and Lance seek the Saxon hoard on a farm owned by a man once suspected of killing his wife.

Lance and Andy find nothing on Bishop's land other than Art and Paul from the rival Antiquisearchers. Years ago, Bishop claims he gave those treasures to Justine. He refuses to say who Justine is.

Andy and Lance perform at an open mike. Lance is upset that Maggie does not come to support him. Andy insists that his girlfriend should stay home, she thinks he's having an affair.

After unearthing a bomb, Terry decides to retire and nominates Andy as club president. Andy and Sophie find a gold coin on Bishop's land and share a celebratory kiss.

Puzzled as to why she left him, Andy visits Becky who has an incriminating photo. He makes up with Lance, who tells to Sophie that he has won over 250,000 pounds in the lottery.

Lance learns that Maggie has known about his lottery win all along. Andy wins back Becky by selling his equipment and promising to give up detecting altogether.
