When her out-of-work husband suddenly disappears, Riley Parks (Jennifer Love Hewitt) signs on to work as a masseuse in a spa. But when she learns that her new job will require servicing her clients’ special needs, Riley must consider if she has what it takes to keep working there.

As suspicions about a possible police raid cause a slowdown at work, Riley (Jennifer Love Hewitt) tries to keep Lacey (Rebecca Field) from learning too much about what goes on at the Rub. Meanwhile, Riley worries about getting too involved with a handsome single dad from school.

And as her workplace relationship with Selena (Alicia Lagano) continues to unravel, a backstabbing rival (guest star Elisabeth Rohm) reemerges to create problems for Riley and her family.

As her son’s need for a male role model sends Riley (Jennifer Love Hewitt) looking to her brother-in-law for help, Evan’s (Colin Egglesfield) relationship with Selena (Alicia Lagano) gets in the way. And as she tries to patch things up between a rodeo cowboy and his girlfriend, Riley’s offer to help Linette (Cybill Shepherd) buy the salon risks exposing her own questionable finances.

Dee Ann’s (Desi Lydic) affair with a client (guest star Eric Mabius) forces Georgia (Loretta Devine) to take drastic measures. And after an unsettling dinner date with Mark (guest star Jon Prescott) at his country club, Riley (Jennifer Love Hewitt) faces some disturbing new developments at home.

While she struggles to cope with Kyle’s (Brian Hallisay) return, Riley (Jennifer Love Hewitt) suddenly finds herself in charge at the Rub. As running the business brings some unexpected challenges, Riley sees how Kyle’s leaving has changed things forever as she faces decisions that will affect her family’s future.
